Durante uma verificação aleatória, o comandante de uma unidade de fronteira checa descobre um grupo de imigrantes na área de carga de uma carrinha. Um menino aproveita o caos e foge para a floresta circundante. A ordem é manter o grupo no espaço de detenção improvisado e encontrar o rapaz. Mas o pai do menino recusa-se a cooperar e os elementos da unidade começam a ser agressivos com os homens detidos. O comandante tenta lidar com a situação de acordo com as regras, mas começa a ficar lentamente dividido entre seguir as ordens ou a sua própria consciência. Uma noite que abala sua fé no sistema que ele representa.

During a random check, the commander of a Czech Customs Unit discovers a group of immigrants in a van’s cargo area. A boy takes advantage of the chaos and flees into the surrounding forests. The order is to keep the group in makeshift space and to find the boy. But the boy’s father refuses to co-operate with the search. The commander tries to deal with the ensuing situation according to the rules but slowly becomes torn between following orders or his own conscience, marking the start of a night that shakes his faith in the system he represents.
