Com nove anos de idade, Inay descobre que o segredo para comer mais sobremesas é fazer tudo em camara lenta. Quando é obrigada a juntar-se ao pai e ao irmão mais novo para uma ida especial à cidade, ela e o menino fazem de tudo para chegarem atrasados. Infelizmente, não tarda para que Inay perceba o quão equivocada estava. O resultado das suas ações colocará o seu pai em maus lençóis. En Route é realizado pela holandesa Marit Weerheijm, e conta com uma nomeação para a Mostra Competitiva do Festival de Cinema Internacional de Berlim e um prémio de Melhor Curta Metragem no Festival de Cinema da Holanda (NFF).

At nine years of age, Inay discovers that the secret to eating more dessert is to do everything in slow motion. When she is forced to join her father and younger brother for a special trip to the city, she and her sibling do everything they possibly can to be late. Unfortunately, it doesn’t take long for Inay to realise how wrong she was. The result of her actions will put her father in a bad mood. En Route is directed by dutch director Marit Weerheijm and was nominated for the Competitive Exhibition at the Berlin International Film Festival and won an award for Best Short Film at the Netherlands Film Festival.
